About the design cooperation
Aglaë describes the collection as feminine, relaxed and a little bit sexy. She says:
It's a collection made to make you feel confident, and make you stand out but in a subtle way. These are piece that you can keep throughout the years. You can mix and match. It's also designed in a way that you can show more skin, accentuating your curves instead of minimising them. As a plus model for years, I always felt a bit frustrated with the collections - I wanted pieces that would show more skin. I always felt the clothes I was wearing were meant to hide my shape although all I want to do it is show them ... as I’m proud of my curves and so should you be.
Aglaë’s career began at the age of 16 and as a teenager she experienced pressure to be thin, losing 25 kilos before she decided to take care of her health and enjoy life and her curvy figure. Having achieved her ambition of producing her own collection, her next wish is to see more size diversity in the fashion industry.
To see a bigger model in every magazine, in more campaigns, more beauty editorials – without it being a special curve issue.

If I would be a piece of clothing, I would be ... A flowery dress or a sexy one piece swimsuit.
What are you working on at the moment that's really inspiring you? My collection with navabi & a little secret photo project with some friends.
Who would you most like to work with and why? I would really love to work with Mario Testino as I love his work.
What do you associate with the term plus size? It's a very difficult question to answer. I associate work with the term plus size. I associate curvier body with the term plus size. In my opinion plus size is only a way to define a woman size. But I also find it a hard word because sometimes, it's what the people only see: Plus size… & I believe that we are more than a body size. I don't like being only defined by it.
How would you describe your style? Feminine, relaxed & sexy.
What's the most frustrating issue about plus size fashion? That people think that being plus size is a problem or something to be ashamed of. That because you are plus size you need to cover up & shouldn't wear the same clothes than a skinnier girl. We want to wear the same things...
If there was one thing you could change about the fashion industry what would it be? More size diversity for sure! Seeing a bigger model in every magazine, in more campaigns, more beauty editorials – without it being a special curve issue.
How would your friends describe you? They tell me that I’m natural & a little sunshine.
Advice you would give your younger self? Love yourself the way you are, not to compare myself & that it's a good thing to be different.
How would you describe your collection? It's effortless, comfortable, trendy & a little sexy of course ;) You can wear it day & night with a change of accessories.
What is the look and feel of the collection? It's a trendy & feminine look. It's a collection made to make you feel confident, & make you stand out but in a subtle way.

It's also designed in a way that you can show more skin, accentuating your curves instead of minimising them. As a plus model for years, I always felt a bit frustrated with the collections - I wanted pieces that would show more skin. About the collection
I am a very big fan of maxi dresses. I wear them every spring/summer/autumn. I wanted the fabric and design to feel airy and comfortable while still being sexy. This dress is so cool because depending on the accessories, you can wear it for a special occasion or just casually on a day out. The print is also so easy to combine with a leather or denim jacket for the cooler days.
Everybody needs the perfect white tee in their wardrobe. It can be paired with just about anything. Wear it with the pin striped blazer and your favorite jeans and you are ready to start autumn with style. And of course, to make it special I added a little heart because we all need some extra love in our life.
This blazer is also a must in my wardrobe: You can put it over any outfit and immediately dress up any look. I am a blazer fan but I always struggled to find one that flatters my shape. With navabi we put together the perfect blazer that looks classy but cool too.
It’s the cutest piece of the collection! The ruffles are super trendy this season and I felt in love with this stripy fabric with the eyes on it. It’s a wrap dress so that it’s comfortable while looking sexy! I love a short dress and this one is the perfect one. You can wear it with sneakers or strappy sandals. The perfect dress to go from day to night!
The strippy blue jogging is the bomb. You can pair it with the white tee or the white blouse - depending on your mood. The side slit is so subtle & sexy.
This airy white blouse is so comfortable & cool. You can wear it with the wrap dress, the jogging or your favorite jeans. I love the details of the sleeve. It supposed to be worn a bit oversize over your pants or tucked in! You choose.
Wrap skirts are the best. Tied at the waist, and flowy, this skirt is perfect to be worn with the white tee, the white blouse or a crop top. Again you can dress it up or down - depending on the accessories.
